Sage is all about supporting your leadership capability/potential as you navigate your organization, career and life - by focusing on practical strategies that lead to success. We do this holistically: accomplishing your goals in ways that give you enriched meaning, increased satisfaction and happiness. By integrating the best of the self help/human potential movement with solid business and life strategies, the best of both worlds come together – like the intersection of Harvard Business Review and YouTube.

Susan’s Sage Sense

Back to School and Back to Basics:
School started here last week. There is something about the fall and school starting that always gets me re-energized and re-focused. I want to go to Staples Office Supply and get more pens, notebooks and organizers.

In our last issue we talked about working with, and aligning to nature as a powerful force for achieving greater results in your business and your life. Here in Connecticut, the weather typically starts to turn colder this time of year, which often induces us to come inside, turn inward and read and reflect more versus being outside and more physical in the summer.

Wherever you are in your fiscal year, September is a great time to regroup, reassess and recalibrate your plans to enter the last quarter of the year with renewed vigor and focus. Think about it as “coming inside” and getting your last informed burst to the finish line.  Take stock of what’s been accomplished, what’s shifted in the market, and what you need to stop, start, modify or continue to end the year strong. A key piece is to clearly communicate any adjustments to your team - your employees, suppliers or customers.

New Course Offerings!
In response to our corporate coaching clients who want to take their professional development work deeper and outside of the office, we are sponsoring two public workshops this fall.

Discover Your Umbrella Of Consciousness
October 17th 1-5 pm, Danbury, CT
In an afternoon workshop, you get a snapshot of your overarching life perspective, life purpose and life lessons, all through the tool of a hand analysis. This is non-predictive and not palm reading but based on Life Prints Methodology by Richard Unger, and 25 years of research and fingerprints statistics from more than 50,000 hands. Your fingerprints are unique, unchanging, and formed five months before birth. Even the FBI uses them as an accepted and infallible means of personal identification. Come see for yourself and register.

Awaken Now!
Align To Greater Success in Life and Work
October 21-November 18, 2009, Wednesdays, 6-8:30 pm, Danbury, CT

This is a 5-week course that gives you tools, resources and support to help you gain greater clarity and resolve on what you want and how to get it. The focus is on strengthening your intuition, gaining insight, greater resiliency and integration to assist you in achieving your goals. Read more about it and register!

TV Interviews with Business Leaders
Susan's most recent guest is not a business leader, but in keeping with our back to school theme – a student and an up-and-coming leader.

Kate Lupo - is a College Senior at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. Kate conceived and led a Mural Project at a high school in Weston, CT.  What makes this project so unique is it’s focus and how it got done.  it integrates different disciplines of art, technology, science, green living and environmental stewardship. And, it was completely led and executed by students. Upon graduation, Kate is looking to take her project to the next level with other schools and school systems. Well done Kate!

The clients we serve are typically Corporate Leaders in mid-size to large organizations (C-suite, VPs, directors, etc.), Entrepreneurs in startup mode, 1-5 years into their businesses and Individual Professionals who are working through major transitions or just want more clarity in their personal or professional lives.
