Hi, I’m Suze Shaner-Brodax
Founder & President, Sage Leadership Strategies, LLC
At Sage, I partner with executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs navigating change, challenge, or uncertainty. Our work helps clients access their inner wisdom, build resilience, and achieve ambitious goals.
Because we are a network of seasoned consultants, we bring the right expertise to each project, customizing solutions to match the needs of leaders, teams, and organizations. Every engagement combines executive insight, whole-person leadership, and practical strategy to deliver meaningful, lasting impact.
Our Journey
I founded Sage Leadership Strategies in 2006 to bring a holistic, creative, and pragmatic perspective to leaders across industries. Our clients include:
Large growth companies seeking innovative ways to develop and manage key talent
Small to mid-size businesses optimizing resources for maximum impact
Entrepreneurs needing a trusted advisor to navigate complex challenges
I’ve personally worked in global corporations and nonprofit leadership, including IBM, GE, Accenture, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Healthnet. Early in my career, I trained as a therapist using the creative arts and taught in inner-city schools in Kingston, Jamaica—developing programs to foster growth and self-expression.
Together with my network, we blend strategic rigor with creativity, helping teams translate vision into measurable results. Clients describe us as thoughtful, candid, responsive, and practical, with a talent for facilitating dialogue, igniting insight, and sparking creative solutions.
What I Bring
As a team and network, we combine executive insight with a wide range of tools and modalities. My own credentials include:
Masters of Science in Human Resource Education, Fordham University
Masters of Arts in Expressive Therapy, Lesley University
Certificate in Holistic Health Counseling, Integrative Institute for Nutrition
Certificate in Interfaith/Interspiritual Ministry, One Spirit Learning Alliance
Bachelor of Arts, English with Honors, Boston College
I’ve served on local chapter boards for professional and community organizations focused on leadership, education, and the arts including ATD (Association for Talent Development), ICF (International Coaches Federation), NEATA (New England Association of Art Therapists), CAWCT (Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut), and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury.
Beyond Work
I’m passionate about lifelong growth, well-being, and creativity. I enjoy art, music, dancing, yoga, swimming, hiking, organic gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I love being outdoors and exploring ways to integrate mind, body, and spirit into everyday life.
Why This Matters
If you want a partner and a network that brings insight, perspective, and a catalytic spark—someone who can help your team clarify vision, deepen collaboration, and translate insight into action—we are here to help. We thrive on repurposing ideas, tools, and processes to fit unique challenges and create meaningful outcomes.
