There is a particular kind of leader I have had the privilege of working with over the years — not the most decorated, not always the most senior, but unmistakably the most generative.

You know them when you walk into a room they've shaped. Something is different. People are more themselves. There is less performance, less guardedness, more of the particular aliveness that emerges when people feel genuinely safe, genuinely seen, and genuinely part of something that matters.

Here, in the United States, many of us are digesting the results of the Presidential Election. Some people are celebrating and excited about the future and some are scared or terrified about the future. Regardless of where you are, it is important, now more than ever, to build bridges and seek to understand the other person’s point of view.

I’m not in the habit of endorsing products or services on this blog, but I do want to highlight a unique organization, it’s leaders and the quality product they are able to produce BECAUSE of their relationships and ties to the communities in which they operate, and with each other. Relationships and authentic community matters.
