A Fuller Cup, A Season of Need: Why Leadership Renewal Must Start With the Self-and Extend to Our Systems
Many leaders are exhausted—not because they lack commitment or competence, but because they’ve been carrying more than ever, for too long.
Burnout, in this context, isn’t a failure.
It’s information.
It tells us something about both the self and the systems we’re operating within.
That’s why we created two distinct—but deeply connected—retreats: A Fuller Cup and Season of Need.
A Fuller Cup: The Inner Foundations of Sustainable Leadership
A Fuller Cup focuses on the inner conditions that make leadership sustainable.
Not productivity hacks.
Not optimization.
But real self-care—care that reconnects you to your body, your values, and your sense of purpose.
Participants explore:
embodiment and energy awareness
authenticity and emotional clarity
values-based leadership
boundaries, empowerment, and connection
self-care as a model for community care
This retreat helps leaders understand what actually fills their cup—so they’re not leading from chronic depletion.
Seasons of Need: The Systems We’re Leading Inside
Seasons of Need expands the inquiry.
This retreat recognizes that individual well-being is inseparable from cultural, organizational, and ecological systems.
It explores leadership across three terrains:
Inner: vitality, regulation, meaning
Systemic: the myths and structures that exhaust leaders—and regenerative alternatives
Relational: leadership as a shared, communal practice
Participants reconnect with natural rhythms, reflect on the conditions shaping their work, and develop regenerative practices that can be woven into real life—not ideal circumstances.
From Self-Care to Regenerative Leadership
Together, these retreats form a larger arc:
tending the self
understanding the system
strengthening our capacity to lead for the long haul
This is not about stepping away.
It’s about learning how to stay—without burning out.
