Happy World Labyrinth Day!
Today, many people around the globe will walk a labyrinth at 1:00 p.m. local time, to help create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next.
A Labyrinth is a form of embodied, contemplative meditation. Walking a labyrinth can also be considered an active form of contemplative activism.
The intention of the world labyrinth movement is that all labyrinths are connected for the highest good of our world. I built a labyrinth in my yard four years ago and walk it when I am home. Today I am at Harvard Medical School's Coaching Institute Conference, so I can’t walk it.
Instead, I handed out flyers with this finger labyrinth and am encouraging people to pause at 1 pm to tap into the invisible power of coherent energy that is intentional and active.
The focus this year is to walk for peace. In this case, your fingers will do the walking. You will start at the entrance and trace the path into the labyrinth. Pause in the center, release anything that needs releasing, and walk back to where you started at the entrance.
You are invited to use this mantra, “I am present to the universal energy of peace.”

I’d love to hear about your experience!
